Other types of simulation

• EDEM is coupled with Adams of MSC Software (DEM & MBD) to compare two taper bucket designs. This coupled simulation enables VR Steel to compare the mass inside the bucket vs. time and the force required to drag the bucket. Normalizing this data, VR Steel can optimize a bucket to provide the best filling characteristics whilst minimizing drag force. [VID]
